White StuffWhite Stuff was founded in 1985 when friends George Treves and Sean Thomas decided to collaborate together in an attempt to fund their passion for skiing. The solution was to sell T-shirts with abstract motifs that would appeal to skiers. They thought up the name "Boys from the White Stuff" – a play on the title of the popular film and TV series “Boys from the Blackstuff”. The T-Shirts proved to be so popular that in 1991, George and Sean opened their first shop in London and the brand “White Stuff” was born. Today, the brand has developed a loyal following due to the designs still using original, hand-drawn prints with intricate details and quirky touches.
