Story of the wine:
The Right Bank of the River Gironde is home to some of Bordeaux’s most important names based in the villages of Pomerol and St Emilion. Montagne St Emilion, one of the satellite areas just to the north of St Emilion and is regarded as probably the best of the satellites. The Chateau Grand Moulin Macquin is an old estate going back to the 17th century and the current owners are the fourth generation running the estate.

Adjacent to Bordeaux’s famous St Emilion, Montagne St Emilion has an excellent reputation for its style and offers great value for money. A deliciously pummy fruitiness on the nose. The palate has an easy rounded texture and a warmth of taste.
